    These moments here, when he’s talking about how he needs to change, you can just see how scared he is. With a small gay bar like Scandals, I don’t doubt that Sebastian and Dave knew each other pretty well despite Sebastian’s comments. In all likelihood, Sebastian’s never experienced death, not like this. Dave’s a teenager, he’s gay, he lives nearby, and he’s a jock. Just like Sebastian. Sebastian’s thinking about what it would be like if it were different, if his family hadn’t been able to afford to give him a good life free from gay bashing. He’s never known someone who’s tried to take their own life.

    I wonder if the Warblers told him about why Blaine and Kurt transferred when they did. I wonder if that had anything to do with his change of heart. Finding out about what Kurt and Blaine have gone through, which is so similar to what Dave went through, probably scared him the most. The boy is privileged and sheltered. He didn’t think the way he treated people actually affected them and now he knows better.

    When he apologized to Blaine, it wasn’t just for the slushie. It was for everything that Blaine’s gone through and how he’s just exacerbated those feelings when Blaine was finally beginning to heal.
